JORDAN STEWART
Performer, Writer
Jordan appeared on his first
record album at the age of 12 and had his first play produced at 15... he has been waiting for his riches and infamy ever
since!
Jordan studied Theatre & Drama at both the University of
Winnipeg & York University in Toronto, training with renowned director and writer Per Brask, as well as with
physical theatre icon Robert Astle of the National Theatre School.
His stage credits include the
title role in Tirso De Molina's Don Juan with Toronto’s legendary Poculi Ludique Societas theatre company,
as well as principle roles in The Holiday Trilogy, The Madwoman Of Chaillot, The Lottery, Happy Daze,
and Alberta Bund. He was also a cast member on the cable access variety show The Captain Ferris Comedy Hour
(but he doesn't talk about that much!). Jordan is the guiding force behind the macabre musical theatre troupe Cabaret
Sinistre (http://cabaretsinistre.tripod.com) whose show "La Mort De L'Amour" received rave reviews in 2003.
Splitting his time between the worlds of theatre and
rock n' roll, Jordan (as Jordan Michael Stewart) is a member of the rock band CRASH KELLY (www.crashkelly.ca) who recently signed a multi-album worldwide contract with Los Angeles based Liquor & Poker Music (Century Media).
He has also appeared on 5 albums with various other groups, released 2 solo albums, and toured Canada &
the US, appearing at the Mercury Lounge in New York, Whisky A GoGo in Los Angeles, Molson Amphitheatre
in Toronto and on Canada's late night talk show Open Mike With Mike Bullard. Jordan recently completed a
27 city US tour with Crash Kelly.
